The Southside Yips 6.3.2023

On June 3rd, we hosted our first fundraiser. The Southside Yips put on an incredible show and brought the people with them. We were able to raise over $6,500 in total, which is the equivalent to 5 scholarships. Thank you!

The BCCC Scholarship

This past year, we partnered with four different First Tee chapters and received over forty applicants for our scholarship. Ultimately, we selected nine young men and women from Palm Beach, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Washington D.C. Our goal is to allow these young golfers, who came highly recommended by their coaches, to attend the Division I golf camp of their choice. We believe that each recipient has a strong chance of not only playing collegiate golf, but of receiving a scholarship. The opportunity to showcase and grow their skills from Division I coaches will be invaluable for these players. However, what we’re most excited about is that each of our athletes is going to develop friendships and experiences surrounding the game that only overnight camps can provide and that without our help, they wouldn’t be able to experience. Of course, we want them to improve as players, but we’d rather they come away with new friends and a deeper love for the game than an extra 15 yards with the driver.
