2024 Scholarship Recipients

Dear Members –

 

I’m excited to announce that the members of the board have selected eight recipients for the 2024 scholarship. We had a tremendous amount of interest across the First Tee chapters in Washington D.C., Charlotte, Atlanta, and Palm Beach. However, our 2024 recipients displayed a passion for the game of golf better than the rest, were highly recommended by their coaches at the First Tee, and are all capable golfers.

 

Charlotte

  • Neel Ladde - he is 14 years old, a +1.2 handicap, and coaches the 5 & 6 year old class every week at the First Tee

  • Axel Sanchez - he is 14 years old and is a 0.2 handicap

  • Madison Park - she is 16 years old and is a 0.7 handicap. Despite just being a sophomore, she is currently taking AP English, Geography & Pre-Calculus

Atlanta

  • Alex Keeton - he is 15 years old and outside of golf, loves to build model cars and trucks

  • Ethan Herndon - he is 17 years old and knows how to play the piano, the guitar, and the trombone

 

Palm Beach

  • Thomas Nevico - he is 16 years old and is the captain of the ParkVista Community High golf team

  • Valentina Marie Guertin - she is 16 years old and is a +3.0 handicap and is a volunteer at Chip Inks Junior Golf Camp

  • Angelina Marie Guertin - she is 17 years old and is 1.9 handicap
