Leah and Hershal's Experience at Camp
Dear Members –
Now that the summer has winded down, I wanted to share with you the feedback that we got from Leah and Hershal about their experience at the Wake Forest golf camp. By all accounts it seems like it went extremely well. The coaches gave great feedback about both athletes, and they clearly had a great time and learned a lot. Mission accomplished.

“I am so happy I was able to attend the Wake Forest Golf Camp and meet new coaches, learn more about my game and see the Wake Forest Campus. I am so grateful for this incredible experience and so thankful to have been able to go. I learned so many different ways to improve my game and received great advice to help me be the best player that I can be. I am so glad I went because it motivated me to be a better player and hopefully get to go to a school like Wake. Thank you to all who made it possible for me to attend this camp, I have so many great memories and I couldn’t have done it without you guys.”
Hershal
“First of all, this camp was super fun, I met lots of new friends, new coaches, new courses and we had so many fun activities and competitions. Coach Grant Robbins from Kansas State taught me a lot about chipping, Coach Hass really helped me improve my putting and deep lies which I am now excelling in at recent tournaments. We got to use an indoor putting simulator which might be the coolest thing I have seen in my life! Honestly, Coach Hass is one of the coolest coaches I have met, he is so friendly and nice and taught me a lot. We were playing and I shot my 3 wood 240 yards and hit the green and had 30ft for an eagle putt, Coach Hass was watching! Thank you for letting me go to this camp and allowing me to have this experience and meet these coaches. I learned a lot about myself and am so glad I had this opportunity to improve my game.”
Looking forward, we’ve started to accept applications for next year. So far, we’ve received 17 in total which is great news. We’ll stop accepting them on November 1st, and then work to make our decisions regarding the recipients within a month of that. Thanks again for everybody’s support, it means the world to us.
